Wedding Wednesday

Austin Couture

CLINK had the pleasure of styling and designing a high-end, fashion-forward inspiration shoot to showcase some of the best of Austin’s creative class! Four Studios, the powerhouse photography studio featuring the talents of Diana M. Lott Photography, Eclectic Images, Photography by Vanessa and SMS Photography were responsible for all of the amazing and breathtaking images.

The venue we chose, Palazzo Lavaca, is truly to-die-for! Every room is filled with details that are flawless. The space was built in 1890 and was the first firehouse in Austin. Designer, Joel Mozersky, along with the owner, transformed the space into a glorious world of textures, fabrics, antique rugs and statement art pieces that make Palazzo Lavaca one of a kind. It is the perfect setting for any intimate soiree, killer dinner party or weekend getaway!

Ross Bennett was tasked with designing a dress to go with the Couture theme. Luckily he had recently married his muse, Erin, so his inspiration was already there! We knew we wanted to feature black lace on the bodice and the skirt needed to be dramatically full. Ross blew us away with his creation! In fact, we were so impressed we asked him and Erin to be the models. Chemistry is key to executing a well-styled shoot, and did they ever have it!

Merveille designed the bouquet and tablescapes. They are amazing at interpreting a vision and making it come to life. We knew we wanted textured ivory floral and vintage mercury glass and tons of candles. Touches of gold and black were a bonus! We were blown away the morning that everything was delivered. The floral was more than we could have dreamed of and made the shoot!

Erin was accessorized head to toe by an amazing team of Austinites! Kandy Glass was the makeup artist and Erin glowed the entire shoot. Her look was bridal with a touch of drama, LOVE! Danielle Adams was the hair stylist and worked with several hairpieces to make sure Erin’s hair always went with the outfit. It was perfect, each and every time. Tracy Tenpenny provided impeccable jewelry that perfectly complemented each look.  Sew Sister leant us her lingerie expertise and you can see her beautiful work in the boudoir shots. Milli Starr, milliner extraordinaire, made Erin’s headpiece, which went perfectly with every look! Foxy Fusions, designer of every type of glass infused accessory, crafted Ross’ artistic cufflinks.

And the cherry on top of details: the stationery! Paper Place knew the venue and the style very well, working with the owner on her personal projects. Tons of rich layered papers, dramatic fonts and that gorgeous pop of turquoise made the stationery suite priceless. The look was unbelievable, rich and ideal.

Thanks to Style Me Pretty for featuring our labor of love!!!! You can see the full article and shoot here: full story. And thanks to all the Austin vendors, we are lucky to have such talents amongst us!
