Junior High School . . . boy meets girl . . .  they fall in love.  That’s how this fairy tale started 11 years ago . . . and the story just keeps getting better and better. Molly and Alec have been dating and in love since they were 13 years young! Fourteen months ago, we were elated when they came to CLINK and asked us to plan their wedding! Molly and Alec were inspired by Austin’s beautiful sunset and they pulled out all the stops for creating this magical evening.  Our theme was:  They decided on forever, and forever begins at sunset.

Molly, her Mom – Kathy, and all her girls got ready together in a suite at the Four Seasons. The hair stylists and makeup artists busily worked on the large wedding party all day long. Some of Molly’s bridesmaids took a few sneak peeks at the ceremony area and reception ballroom throughout the day (of course, we never let the bride see it until it’s complete!) and their jaws were on the floor. The set up for this wedding had no less than 35 people on site . . . and that was just for lighting, floral and furniture rentals alone! The team we assembled was nothing short of brilliant and their dedication to perfection was so impressive! We love our Austin vendors and had so much fun working them you all day to pull off this awesome design.

Everything was running right on time and when it came time to start the show, our ceremony musicians tugged at everyone’s heart strings with their gorgeous prelude music. When Molly saw the ceremony site, she gasped and said, “I’ve never seen anything so beautiful”” Music to a wedding coordinator’s ears! Mission accomplished! And check out Jennifer Lindberg’s photos below – those 7′ tall floral trees on the altar were breathtaking . . . and so unique! Molly walked down the aisle to Sting’s “Fields of Gold” and we all had chills!

After the romantic ceremony, the guests came into the foyer for cocktail hour. We had the ceiling draped and brought in gorgeous white micro suede lounge furniture for the guests to . . . well . . . lounge! And the orange glow in the room perfectly complemented the sunset outside. Before cocktail hour was over, we invited Molly and Alec and Molly’s parents Kathy and Greg inside the ballroom for a sneak peek before all their guests piled in. We were beyond excited to show them the results of 14 months of planning. There are no words to describe how stunning the ballroom was. The ballroom was glowing in rich sunset tones and the flowers and crystal trees made the room sparkle!  It was divine. Molly and Kathy were blown away. And we were so emotional just watching them gaze around the ballroom. They were so wonderful to work with and deserved nothing short of perfection!

For dinner, the guests were treated to comfort food . . . Four Seasons style! The menu included an assortment of chef-inspired pizzas, lobster macaroni and cheese as well as shrimp and crab claws.  The fantastic band/dj combo kept the dance floor packed all night!

And is there any other way to end a fantastic party other than to start another one?!  After Molly and Alec made their first exit, everyone came back for a late-night after party where even more food and drink were served and the DJ played everyone’s favorite dance tunes into the wee hours of the morning.

The weather could not have been more perfect, the flowers more beautiful and the couple more lovely.  We are so honored to have been involved in this magical wedding ~ it was amazing from beginning to end.  Thank you Molly and Alec, and Kathy and Greg, we are so grateful and will never forget that amazing evening!!!!
