Image Wedding Wednesday

Sarah + Kyle

Ceremony – St. Mary Cathedral

Reception – The Driskill

Sarah and Kyle are a truly sweet and classic couple who met their first year at Baylor University.  During the planning process, Kyle passed the bar and became an Assistant District Attorney, and Sarah completed her second year of law school with a nearly perfect GPA.  An amazing feat for anyone, but especially so during the wedding planning process.

A traditional Catholic mass was held at the stunning St. Mary Cathedral in downtown Austin, which was officiated by the charismatic and delightful Monsignor Brooks.  This wedding was charming and original, as the Monsignor kept the Bride and Groom, and their family and guests delighted with humorous and loving thoughts and stories.

Guests then headed to the Victorian Room in the historic Driskill hotel. A beautiful and romantic ambiance was achieved by bringing in amazing lighting in purple tones and rich, romantic floral centerpieces atop creamy linens with eggplant runners.

Sarah and Kyle wanted an amazing band to keep their guests thoroughly entertained, and boy did they! With a variety of tunes ranging from blues to country to rock – the dance floor stayed packed and the party was in full swing. One guest named the night “Big Fun,” and I couldn’t agree more.

Rose petals were tossed as Sarah and Kyle made their way to their very own horse-drawn carriage – the perfect fairy tale ending for the oh-so-romantic day.

Sarah and Kyle, It was such a pleasure for me to be a part of your magical day, a day that was deeply deserved by two very kind, hard-working, and devoted individuals who will no doubt have an adventurous and loving life together.

All the best,
