Sign on the dotted line

The wedding guest book was once used as a record of all witnesses to the betrothal of the bride and groom. Since witnesses are no longer required, the tradition has evolved into a great way for guests to send well wishes to the happy couple.

CLINK Guest Book Tips

*Get more than one pen. Two pens minimum and five maximum. Pens run out of ink and tend to wander off with the guests

  • 50 guests – 2 pens
  • 100 guests – 3 pens
  • 150 guests – 4 pens
  • 200+ guests – 5 pens

*If you have a traditional sign in book, use a traditional black pen that has quick drying ink and won’t transfer through to the next page. For the non-traditional books, get fine tip ink pens in your wedding colors.

*Have guests sign your book at the ceremony and then have it at the reception for guests that didn’t have a chance to sign at the ceremony.

*Close the sign in book five minutes prior to the ceremony so people will be seated and not be waiting in line to sign it
