CASE STUDY: Branding and High Impact for User Conference

OBJECTIVE

Our client – an energy software company – wanted to up the ante on its 2nd annual user conference at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort.  They wanted it themed and high impact for the important customers they were inviting.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • CLINK developed the “Fueling Innovation” theme for this year’s conference and carried this theme throughout the event.
  • CLINK worked with a graphic designer to develop a Fueling Innovation logo for the conference homepage and email blasts.  All printed items incorporated this logo including the signage, slideshow presentations, and high tech charger giveaways.
  • CLINK’s local relationships helped keep costs down for this small conference of 35 attendees.  CLINK selected appropriate vendors and cost effective products to design the event without blowing the budget.
  • CLINK utilized minimalist table décor and slick black ghost chairs with blue linens to match the theme, and brought in local live country music from Austin as many attendees were from out of state.  The client chose a Trivia Night from our many activity options for their second dinner.
  • CLINK managed registration using Eventbrite, so the client could relax and play golf with key customers.
  • CLINK devised a creative, yet cost-efficient menu to utilize their Fueling Innovation theme and blue conference logo.  Blue specialty drinks were offered at the opening reception as well as blue smoothies, chips, fruit and energy bars for snack options.

THE CLINK DIFFERENCE

The client hired CLINK just two months before the event began!   CLINK listened to the client’s priorities and concerns – where they wanted help and what items they wanted to handle on their own.  CLINK also listened to what the client meant by taking their event to the next level.  They wanted a big step up from last year’s event, but didn’t want to take it too far. We enjoyed coming up with ways to accomplish that goal.
